Currently the GitHub login is a quick way to sign up with us to be able to submit impact / effort votes and to write down improvement notes – it doesn't allow users to create issues on GitHub. That feature isn't in the extension yet 😄

Could you tell me a bit more about the flow you have in mind please? The simplest thing I can picture is to inspect a function in our webview and raise a ticket about it – would that address your use case?
